Late Night Ramblings...

So I am so so so tired but I feel like I haven't blogged in forever and I just want to while I have a spare minute to think.
My last fall semester of my undergraduate career is in full swing!  I am taking 12 credits but holy cow do I feel like I am taking 18!  I have an internship at the senior citizen center where I help make lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  I am there for 9 hours a week.  I am in food science.  We have class everyday whether it be lecture or lab.  That takes up another 9 hours.  I am also in senior seminar.  That class is just one hour a week and in two weeks I will be done but still have to attend for others' presentations.  My presentation is going to be on the prevention of childhood obesity...and its mostly just ideas swirling around in my head right now and needs to be put into a power point by like oh Saturday at the latest...... Then the other class I'm in is sort of online.  I watch these things called webinars and then write a response paper on them.  Super easy, just time consuming.  I'm doing three credits of that so I watch about 3 or so hours of conferences every week.  Besides just going to school I am also working.  I work about 19 hours a week...unless I have a Saturday off but please when does that ever seem to happen???  I feel like housework, laundry, and anything besides the necessity of sleeping, eating, and showering have been put on the side burner.  I don't know how I lived before I was married because I swear I never felt this busy before...like how am I supposed to juggle being a student, wife, and employee.......it was much easier being just the student and employee I think...  But I also wouldn't trade being married for anything!  Barry is so great to me.  He is the one that makes sure I eat so I don't pass out.  Because oh, I like to pass out randomly since we got married.  It's super fun, but no worries I AM NOT PREGNANT, contrary to what even strangers would like to point out and ask.  The answer is NO.  Not for a long while please.
My brain has now stopped thinking.  So I guess I'm done rambling.  If anyone wants to come be a clone for me I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.

I'm Married...Say What??!

YAY for being happily married!! The weeks leading up to the wedding were crazy and tiring and so great!  I loved being able to spend time with my mom planning and working on crafts and finally being able to have things fall into place and really be able to visualize things.  I was so worried that the wedding would look awful but it turned out amazing!  Pictures will come soon for those who missed out...
^^Right after our sealing!!! Yay for eternity!
We stayed at the Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake that night.  It was super classy and super nice.  Definitely recommend it! The next day we had lunch and opened presents with our families and then headed back to Cedar.  We moved all our crap into out cute little basement apartment (cute minus the earwigs and spiders that are ever appearing....yuck...).  And just kind of honeymooned at our place for a few days.  We went to a movie and just enjoyed being with each other.  We then wanted to head Richfield for the Fourth of July...on Barry's motorcycle!  It started out great.  And I made it about thirty miles before I was so over that motorcycle ride.  My sweet husband took our bag off our back and we finished the trip.  We slept on the tramp with Kate and Drew and all of Kate's siblings and it rained later that night so we all ended up inside.  We went to the parade that day and spent some time at the park and enjoying the festivities.  We then had lunch and dinner with Kate's family and enjoyed the fireworks of Richfield.  The day after the fourth we went four-wheeling and swam in the canal.  Me and Barry even floated down the canal in Konner's raft.  Down jeb's hole and through spider tunnel.  Where a giant spider crawled on Barry and scared the crap out of me.  Since the ride to Rich wasn't just the most thrilling adventure of my life,  Kate and Drew were so awesome to let us load the motorcycle into the back of Drew's truck and we drove back with them the next day.
After a few more days of work for Barry we headed off to Moab for our rafting trip with Barry's friends.  It rained a lot, but the rafting part was so so fun.
After a few days up there we were pretty much thrown into parenthood as we babysat a 7, 5, 4, & 2 year old for the next week.  It was crazy and I am most definitely not ready for my life to be all about waking up when the kids do and making breakfast, lunch, and dinner while juggling cleaning and where all the kids are....It was a hectic week.  Although once the kids were asleep it was pretty nice to have such a large beautiful home to ourselves.
We are finally settling into our house this week.  We went down to St. George for the 24th and used all our gift cards.  We love our little house and how it is coming together, although I must say that I don't love how much I'm scared that everywhere I look I will see a wretched little bug.  Oh how I hate them.
However, I love being married and the joy that it has brought into our lives.
Thanks for listening and I'll try to keep up on this!!

It's June!

It's June!  and as of today there are 26 days until I marry the man of my dreams!!  Gosh I love him so much :)

A lot has happened since I last blogged.  I finished the semester even though my grades weren't as good as they normally have been, BUT I still have my scholarship so that's all that matters.  We had our engagements taken.  We got our approval letter from the first presidency!! So then we set an official temple date.  I got my temple recommend!  And I'll be going through the St. George temple on June 22 (most likely).  I quit my job....long story, but I feel super relieved!  I'm moving back up to Bountiful to live with my parents til the wedding day this Friday after KATELIN'S WEDDING!! I'm super excited for that girl.  She's so awesome and such a great example for me.  I wish her and Drew all the happiness in the world!

But other than that my life is just chill.  I've been helping my friend remodel a trailer and it's really nice and fun to have a little project to work on.

Stay tuned for wedding updates!  Since I'm currently unemployed I will most likely have plenty of time to blog and craft and do cute things, ha!

Finals Week...

It's currently finals week... and I SUCK at studying.  I guess you could say that I have really bad senioritis.. Which is true, except that I'm not even graduating this year!  So instead I'm just not very studious.  I get distracted by little things, like cleaning my oven.. or dishes.. or anything but the next test I have.  Not the best thing probably but it's fine, ha!

I love love love Barry! In case you were wondering :)
